The Anacoco Indians basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Leesville Wampus Cats to 41 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hicks for a non-league contest on Friday, December 22. Anacoco will battle a Pirates team coming off a 52-32 non-league win over Evans (Evans, LA). The Pirates record now stands at 21-0.
The Wampus Cats (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hornbeck (Hornbeck, LA). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Hornbeck ran past Pickering (Leesville, LA), 55-41, in a non-league contest.
