Bunceton Dragons (Bunceton, MO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Slater Wildcats (Slater, MO), 65-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bunceton upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Higbee (Higbee, MO) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, January 8. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 6-1.

The Wildcats now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Smithton for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Slater will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 44-35 non-league loss to Slater (Slater, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
