The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Cave Spring Knights to 30 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staunton River for a Blue Ridge contest on Wednesday, January 3. Lord Botetourt will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 56-38 non-league win over Narrows (Narrows, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

The Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Blue Demons enter the River Ridge contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Christiansburg triumphed over William Byrd (Vinton, VA), 54-45, in a non-league contest.
