The Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Fort Fairfield Tigers (Fort Fairfield, ME), 61-16 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Panthers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Hodgdon walloped Madawaska (Madawaska, ME), 72-5, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Katahdin for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Fort Fairfield will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 63-23 league loss to Southern Aroostook (Dyer Brook, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
