Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA), 68-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Floyd County upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Buffaloes host James River (Buchanan, VA) to play the Knights in a Three Rivers bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Cougars play the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Pulaski County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
