The Garfield Boilermakers (Garfield, NJ) basketball crushed the visiting Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions (Paterson, NJ), 48-16 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Boilermakers (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ). The Falcons go into the Northwest Jersey - Colonial test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Manchester Regional was trounced by Manville (Manville, NJ), 50-35, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Elmwood Park for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 62-26 non-league win over Passaic Arts & Science Charter (Passaic, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-0.
