In Thursday's league match, the host Gateway Regional Gators basketball team scored a good 40-22 triumph over the Gloucester City Lions.
In their next game, the Gators meet the Salem Rams (Salem, NJ) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Gateway Regional will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record.
With the defeat, Gloucester City moves to 3-1 on the year. The Lions host Sterling (Somerdale, NJ) to meet the Silver Knights in a Colonial match on Friday, January 12. The Silver Knights enter the match with a record of 1-4.
