In Thursday's league outing, the Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Goodwin Tech Gladiators (New Britain, CT), by a margin of 66-21.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT). The Tigers go into the Connecticut Technical outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Bullard-Havens smashed Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT), 62-25, in a league outing.

The Gladiators now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Wilcox RVT for a Connecticut Technical outing on Wednesday, December 27. Goodwin Tech will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 49-42 league loss to Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
