The Hodgdon Hawks (Hodgdon, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Madawaska Owls (Madawaska, ME), 72-5 in Thursday's league test.
The Hawks (4-0) will now prepare for their test against Central Aroostook (Mars Hill, ME). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Central Aroostook walloped Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME), 61-16, in a non-league test.
The Owls now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Washburn for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Madawaska will encounter a Beavers squad coming off a 42-35 league win over East Grand (Dansforth, ME). The Beavers record now stands at 1-1.
