Kadoka Kougars (Kadoka, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Philip Scotties (Philip, SD), 53-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Kadoka upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Kougars travel to White River (White River, SD) to clash with the Tigers in a B Region 7 bout on Thursday, January 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. White River won 54-32 in their recent non-league bout against Custer (Custer, SD)
Next up, the Scotties clash with the Edgemont Moguls (Edgemont, SD) in a B Region 7 bout, on Thursday, December 28. Philip will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Moguls go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 36-34 non-league win over Bison (Bison, SD).
