Ohio High School Basketball - Pymatuning Valley edges Maplewood

The Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Maplewood Rockets (Cortland, OH), 55-48 in Thursday's league test.

The Lakers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 7-0 record. In their last test, Edgewood got by Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH), 57-45, in a league test.

The Rockets now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host McKinley for a non-league test on Thursday, December 28. Maplewood will encounter a Red Dragons squad coming off a 37-29 non-league win over Mathews (Vienna, OH). The Red Dragons record now stands at 3-5.
