The Marshall Redhawks basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Pennfield Panthers to 34 in the Redhawks league triumph on Thursday.

The Redhawks now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gull Lake for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Marshall will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 45-24 non-league win over Portage Northern (Portage, MI). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-1.

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Harper Creek (Battle Creek, MI). The Beavers enter the Interstate 8 contest with a 2-3 record.
