Winnisquam Bears (Tilton, NH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH), 53-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Winnisquam upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Bears host Belmont (Belmont, NH) to play the Red Raiders in a Division III bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Belmont won 53-34 in their recent league bout against Raymond (Raymond, NH)

Next up, the Royals play the Inter-Lakes Lakers (Meredith, NH) in a Division III bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Mascoma will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Lakers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 60-15 league loss to Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH).
