MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host South Winneshiek Warriors (Calmar, IA), 51-26 in a league bout.

With the win, MFL MarMac upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Decorah-North Winneshiek won 63-46 in their recent non-league bout against Hudson (Hudson, IA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. South Winneshiek will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Burros go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 45-40 league win over Grand Meadow (Grand Meadow, MN).
