Peoples Academy Wolves (Morrisville, VT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Twinfield Trojans (Plainfield, VT), 27-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Peoples Academy upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wolves host Hazen (Hardwick, VT) to play the Wildcats in a Mountain bout on Saturday, December 23. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Hazen lost 53-50 in their recent league bout against Lyndon Institute (Lyndon Center, VT)

Next up, the Trojans play the Northfield Marauders (Northfield, VT) in a Mountain bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Twinfield will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
