The Redding Christian Lions basketball team (Palo Cedro, CA), was nudged 42-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Willows Honkers (Willows, CA)

The Honkers now possess a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pierce for a Sacramento Valley battle on Wednesday, January 3.

The Lions (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Trojans come into the Five Star battle with a 13-1 record.
