The Seagoville Dragons (Dallas, TX) basketball knocked off the host West Mesquite Wranglers (Mesquite, TX), 39-31 in Thursday's league test.

The Dragons (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Adams (Dallas, TX). The Cougars go into the 5A Region II District 12 test with a 2-8 record. In their last test, Adams went down by Poteet (Mesquite, TX), 82-14, in a league test.

The Wranglers now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to Garland for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. West Mesquite will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 58-16 league loss to Sachse (Sachse, TX). The Owls record now stands at 3-9.
