North Carolina High School Basketball - Rosman overwhelmed by Avery County

The Avery County Vikings basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Rosman Tigers to 19 in the Vikings league victory on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Heritage for a contest on Tuesday, January 9. Avery County will battle a Cougars team coming off a 48-38 non-league win over West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.

The Tigers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (Marshall, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 0-3 record.
