In Thursday's non-league outing, the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Bath County Chargers (Hot Springs, VA), by a margin of 46-21.

The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Little Giants go into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Waynesboro was trounced by Alleghany (Covington, VA), 72-26, in a non-league outing.

The Chargers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Meadow Bridge for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29. Bath County will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 84-5 league loss to James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.
