Florida High School Basketball - Lakewood can't hold off Boca Ciega

The Boca Ciega Pirates basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Lakewood Spartans to 52 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Osceola for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Boca Ciega will battle a Warriors team coming off a 46-43 league loss to Seminole (Seminole, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-1.
The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL). The Gladiators come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record.
