Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Davidson Dragons (Lexington, NC), 50-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Central Davidson upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Ledford (Thomasville, NC) to play the Panthers in a bout on Friday, January 5. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Dragons play the Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. West Davidson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record.
