The Redford Union Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Thurston Eagles to 48 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Garden City for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Redford Union will battle a Cougars team coming off a 63-40 non-league loss to Crestwood (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Cougars record now stands at 2-6.
The Eagles (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Annapolis (Dearborn Heights, MI). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record.
