Washington High School Basketball - Royal routs Cashmere

In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Royal Knights basketball team scored a big 89-51 triumph over the Cashmere Bulldogs.

The Knights (6-0) will now prepare for their contest against Connell (Connell, WA). The Eagles go into the 1A South Central contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Connell was trounced by Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA), 65-63, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Cascade Kodiaks (Leavenworth, WA) in a 1A Caribou Trail contest, on Friday, January 3. Cashmere will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Kodiaks go into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 50-40 non-league loss to Waterville (Waterville, WA).
