The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) and the host Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), observed Hazleton Area's basketball team edge Crestwood by a margin of 53-50.

The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitehall (Whitehall, PA). The Zephyrs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 26. Crestwood will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record.
