Indiana High School Basketball - Delta sneaks past Muncie Central

The Delta Eagles (Muncie, IN) basketball edged the host Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN), 49-46 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Fort Wayne South Side for a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. Delta will play a Archers team coming off a 48-43 league loss to Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN). The Archers record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Muncie Central falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Jay County (Portland, IN) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 4. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-3.
