The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Dirigo Cougars (Dixfield, ME) and the visiting Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME), observed Dirigo's basketball team overwhelm Sacopee Valley by a score of 93-41.

The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Panthers come into the C South challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, North Yarmouth Academy was routed by Madison (Madison, ME), 84-16, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Morse Shipbuilders (Bath, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Sacopee Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Shipbuilders come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 40-21 league loss to Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME).
