The Griswold Wolverines basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Wheeler Lions to 31 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wolverines now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Ledyard for a Eastern Connecticut I game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Wheeler falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Lions host Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, December 23. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-0.
