The North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD) basketball crushed the visiting South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] Mustangs (Wishek, ND), 51-16 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Thunder now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Timber Lake for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. North Central will play a Panthers team coming off a 59-42 non-league loss to Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, South Border co-op [Wishek/Ashley] falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Monday, January 13. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 1-1.
