In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Twin Valley Wildcats basketball team scored a close 58-57 win over the Springfield Cosmos.

The Wildcats (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Poultney (Poultney, VT). The Blue Devils come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record.

In their next game, the Cosmos battle the Leland & Gray Rebels (Townshend, VT) in a Southern Vermont - C contest, on Monday, December 23. Springfield will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Rebels come into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 64-40 non-league loss to Long Trail (Dorset, VT).
