In Saturday's league contest, the host Mount Desert Island Trojans basketball team scored a close 52-45 win over the Caribou Vikings.
The Trojans (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Houlton (Houlton, ME). The Shiretowners come into the B North contest with a 0-4 record.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME) in a B North bout, on Saturday, December 28. Caribou will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 43-15 league loss to Hermon (Hermon, ME).
