The Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA), 50-40 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they host St. Helena College and Career Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. Episcopal will play a Hawks team coming off a 50-12 non-league win over Capitol (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Central Private falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Redhawks travel to Varnado (Angie, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, December 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Varnado lost 63-7 in their recent non-league bout against Holden (Holden, LA)
