In Saturday's league contest, the host Monroe Township Falcons basketball team scored a good 51-38 triumph over the Colonia Patriots.
The Falcons (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Hightstown was topped by Middletown North (Middletown, NJ), 44-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Montville Mustangs (Montville, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 23. Colonia will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 55-45 non-league loss to West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ).
