The Hatton Hornets basketball squad (Town Creek, AL), was crushed 68-30 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL)

With the victory, East Lawrence advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Eagles host Colbert County (Leighton, AL) to meet the Indians in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. The Indians enter the battle with a record of 7-5.

The Hornets now own a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clements for a non-league battle on Friday, December 27.
