Georgia High School Basketball - Warren County falls to Hancock Central

December 21, 2024: Sparta, GA 31087

The Warren County Screaming Devils basketball squad (Warrenton, GA), was outscored 54-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Hancock Central Bulldogs (Sparta, GA)

With the victory, Hancock Central advances its record to 3-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA) to meet the Warriors in a A D2 Region 5 battle on Friday, January 3. The Warriors enter the battle with a record of 0-8.

The Screaming Devils now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Treutlen for a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. Warren County will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 52-47 non-league win over Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-4.
