The Hodgdon Hawks basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Washburn Beavers to 35 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hawks now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Madawaska for a C North game on Friday, December 27. Hodgdon will confront a Owls team coming off a 40-13 league loss to Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME). The Owls record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Washburn falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Beavers travel to Van Buren (Van Buren, ME) to confront the Crusaders in a D North game on Friday, December 27. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 1-4. Van Buren lost 33-31 in their recent non-league game against Madawaska (Madawaska, ME)
