Georgia High School Basketball - Jenkins County toppled by Jefferson County

December 21, 2024: Millen, GA 30442

Jefferson County Warriors (Louisville, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA), 34-24 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Jefferson County upgrades its record to 4-6 on the year. The Warriors travel to Central (Macon, GA) to face the Chargers in a A D1 Region 2 match on Friday, January 3. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 9-2.

The War Eagles now sport a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Savannah for a A D2 Region 3 match on Friday, January 3.
