The South Amboy Governors basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting New Brunswick Zebra to 34 in the Governors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Governors now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Henry Hudson for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. South Amboy will confront a Admirals team coming off a 44-30 non-league loss to Dunellen (Dunellen, NJ). The Admirals record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, New Brunswick falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Zebra host Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ) to confront the Colts in a non-league game on Saturday, December 21. The Colts go into the game with a record of 2-0. Kinnelon won 59-46 in their recent league game against Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ)
