In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers basketball team scored a good 25-13 triumph over the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers.

The Sabers (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Hawks go into the Illini Prairie contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Prairie Central was topped by Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL), 55-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 26. Paxton-Buckley-Loda will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 9-1 record after their 73-67 non-league loss to Cissna Park (Cissna Park, IL).
