California High School Basketball - St. Lucy's triumphant over Pomona Catholic

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Lucy's Regents (Glendora, CA) and the visiting Pomona Catholic Pacers (Pomona, CA), observed St. Lucy's's basketball team overwhelm Pomona Catholic by a score of 39-12.

The Regents (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against San Gorgonio (San Bernardino, CA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, San Gorgonio was routed by St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA), 50-19, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pacers encounter the Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) in a Santa Fe challenge, on Thursday, January 2. Pomona Catholic will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record.
