The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) and the host Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA), observed Shasta's basketball team overwhelm Red Bluff by a score of 61-36.

The Wolves (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, Central Valley was routed by Willows (Willows, CA), 53-39, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Red Bluff will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
