Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA) and the host Corona del Mar Sea Kings (Newport Beach, CA), saw El Toro's soccer squad hold off Corona del Mar by a score of 2-1.

The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA). The Wolverines enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Aliso Niguel tipped Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Sea Kings confront the Pacifica Christian/Orange County Tritons (Newport Beach, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 3. Corona del Mar will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Tritons enter the battle with a 9-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Fountain Valley (Fountain Valley, CA).
