The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting Summit Tigers to 2 in the Red-Tailed Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Red-Tailed Hawks now own a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Creek for a 4A North bout on Thursday, January 9. Cheyenne Mountain will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league win over Standley Lake (Westminster, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.

With the defeat, Summit drops to 4-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Crested Butte (Crested Butte, CO) to clash with the Titans in a 4A Mountain game on Friday, January 3. The Titans enter the game with a record of 1-7. Crested Butte lost 8-1 in their recent league game against Durango (Durango, CO)
