In Saturday's non-league outing, the visiting Covenant Christian Academy Lions soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 win over the South Lafourche Tarpons.
The Lions (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against De La Salle (New Orleans, LA). The Cavalier enter the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, De La Salle tipped Christ Episcopal School (Covington, LA), 4-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Tarpons confront the Thibodaux Tigers (Thibodaux, LA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, January 3. South Lafourche will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Chalmette (Chalmette, LA).
