The Becton Wildcats basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Wallington Panthers to 29 in the Wildcats league victory on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Johnson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Becton will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 46-43 non-league win over Delaware Valley (Frenchtown, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 1-2.

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Saddle Brook (Saddle Brook, NJ). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Saddle Brook was routed by Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ), 61-42, in a non-league contest.
