Shoals Christian Flame (Florence, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Belgreen Bulldogs (Russellville, AL), 52-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Shoals Christian upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Flame travel to Pine Grove (Ripley, MS) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Pine Grove lost 61-60 in their recent non-league bout against South Pontotoc (Pontotoc, MS)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Phillips Bears (Bear Creek, AL) in a 1A Area 14 bout, on Friday, December 30. Belgreen will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
