In Thursday's non-league outing, the Caldwell Chiefs (West Caldwell, NJ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), by a margin of 62-30.
The Chiefs (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Columbia (Maplewood, NJ). The Cougars go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Columbia smashed Payne Tech (Newark, NJ), 80-64, in a non-league outing.
The Bengals now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host University for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 5.
