Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) and the visiting Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA), witnessed Conestoga's basketball squad nip Upper Darby by a margin of 71-66.

The Pioneers (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Fightin' Tigers go into the Central test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Marple Newtown was tipped by Springfield (Springfield, PA), 47-35, in a league test.

The Royals now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Conrad Science for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 28. Upper Darby will encounter a Red Wolves squad coming off a 65-48 non-league loss to Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA). The Red Wolves record now stands at 4-2.
