The Aztecs travel to Independence (Glendale, AZ) to play the Patriots in a 5A Central Valley challenge on Monday, January 9. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Independence lost 70-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ)

Next up, the Knights play the North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Metro Tech will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record.
