Indiana High School Basketball - Fountain Central fells Covington

December 22, 2022: Veedersburg, IN 47987

Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), 49-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fountain Central upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN) to play the Bluejays in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Bluejays go into the bout with a record of 5-1. North Judson-San Pierre lost 42-39 in their recent non-league bout against Knox (Knox, IN)

Next up, the Trojans play the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) in a Wabash River bout, on Friday, January 6. Covington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record.
