The Michigan Center Cardinals basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Grass Lake Warriors to 40 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Croswell-Lexington for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Michigan Center will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 74-49 non-league win over Port Huron (Port Huron, MI). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-2.

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Homer (Homer, MI). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Homer was routed by Northwest (Jackson, MI), 69-51, in a non-league contest.
